Yvonne Marie Sitko is the founder and owner of the Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre, as well as the owner of Critters Up Close, located in Perth at the Swan Valley. These two company’s offer mobile educational programs focused on bringing people closer to wildlife. With over two decades of experience in wildlife rehabilitation and education, Yvonne has worked with more than 150 species of birds of prey across Australia, the UK, and Singapore. Since 2003, Yvonne has been conducting educational bird of prey displays, showcasing the beauty and importance of these birds to the public. In 2007, her work expanded through an exciting partnership with the West Coast Eagles, where she flies Auzzie, a majestic Wedge-tailed Eagle, at every home game.
